Obituary for Luanne "Missy" Kauikeolani (Santiago Aalona
Luanne “Missy” Kauikeolani (Santiago) Aalona of Hauula passed away on August 12, 2019 surround by her loved ones. She is the daughter of the late Louis and Annette Santiago of Hauula.
God and family was everything to her. Her love for the Lord was infectious. She never missed an opportunity to share the Lord with those around her. She devoted her whole life to giving God all the glory no matter what obstacles she faced. She served as an accountant for her church Hope Chapel Kahuku for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. She loved to travel and host family potlucks, movie nights and gatherings.
She received an associates degree from Windward Community Collage and her Bachelor’s degree from BYU-Hawai’i.
She is survived by her husband, Clellen Aalona, her children, Tomasina, CJ, and Ilissa, her grandchildren, Ku’umaka, Waioha, and La’akea, her brothers, Keala, Lane and Walter, and her sisters, Becky and Ottilia.
A celebration for Missy will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her home in Hauula. Visitation will start at 10am with a service to follow. She will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered at a later date.
