Evelyn Pedilina Caballero, 78 of Honolulu passed away on October 12, 2020. She was raised in Waikane to parents Pedro and Rufina (Aldaya) Lariosa. Evelyn retired as food server from Oahu Country Club and Deli worker at Safeway Salt Lake. Most notably her career was as a Senior Server at Host International at Honolulu International Airport for many years. Evelyn was always beautiful, very well loved by everyone who was lucky enough to have known her. She was an avid sports fan. Always cheering for her favorite UH Wahine Volleyball team. The original "foodie", she loved to eat out to try different foods or get excited to try if she saw an interesting restaurant on TV. Eveyln was an excellent cook as well. When she got hooked on her Korean dramas, she would mimick on what they were eating and try whip up the dish herself with success.

Evelyn was very loving, caring and thoughtful mother and sister. She is survived by her older brother Marcelino "Big Boy" Lariosa, sisters Lina Anguay and Judy Charles and younger brother Gilbert. Being THE BEST MOM IS THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD, her children include Nolan Caballero (Danielle), Blossom Caballero (Randy Macomber), Xyila Caballero and Neal Caballero (Charlotte) along with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Evelyn's Celebration of Life will be scheduled next year depending on when COVID rules are lifted. The family wants to ensure that Evelyn is celebrated the way she deserves to be celebrated with love, laughs and good food. Dates to be determined.
