He is survived by his parents, Melvin and Diane Kahele
Partner, Pua Akau, Children, Wynona Kuehu, Makai'o Kahele, Kiana Kahele, Moana-Marie Kahele
Sisters, Maile Rosa (Hana), Marla Perkins (Anthony), Melanie Akeo (Sean), Marissa Johnson-Kahele, Brother Gabriel Johnson-Kahele
7 nieces, 8 nephews, 5 grand nieces, 7 grand nephews, along with the Kahele, Strong, Costa family members and many friends.
Matt was a caring, loving and supportive Father, Partner, Brother, Son, Uncle, and Friend . He was a proud teamster member for years, and he was gifted with his hands that could build or repair anything he touched . He was always there for family, always there to listen, and always there for his loved ones . He was a proud, humble, and genuine man.
He was especially proud to be his parents son, his sisters brother, and the man his partner loved .
But nothing in life made him prouder then being a father. His children were the center of his world, and his family support is what grounded him. So as we release him to the heavens, where he surely will surround us with his love, he will be missed until we all meet again .
Visitation 5:00 pm Thursday June 30, 2022 at Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary Chapel, Services 6:00 pm.
Scattering of ashes 11:00 am Saturday July 2, 2022 at Makaha Beach Park.
