Obituary for Patrick Tuitele "Papa Tui" Asing
Patrick Tuitele Asing of Honolulu, Hawai`i, passed on December 2, 2022, at 86 years of age.
Patrick "Papa Tui" was born in Honolulu on March 11th, 1936, raised at Kalawahine, O`ahu, then lived in the town of Waimea, Hawai`i Island for over 50 years.
He was a proud 1955 graduate of Roosevelt High School; Veteran of the Army Reserve; retired Hawaiian Telephone Manager, 35 years of service.
He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and worked hard providing for his wife and children.
He was raised a Catholic; a few months ago, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior; upon his death, he went home to be with the Lord for eternal life.
Patrick Tuitele Asing is survived by his loving wife "Darling Deah" (married 67 Blessed years), Jane Leina`ala Palenapa Asing; sons, Patrick H.K. Asing, Sr., Justin P. Asing, Rocky W. Asing; daughters, Jane L. Haynes, Manu K. Hanano and siblings, Darrell Asing, Barbara Young, and Judy Mariano.
Papa Tui and DeahJane have 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
