Vandella was born on January 05, 1957 in Pago Pago, American Samoa to Fred Charles & Aisua Netzler, she was the 10th of 12 children. She attended Happy Valley Christian School in 1962, continued on to Peter Coleman Elementary, and later relocated off-island where she graduated from Moanalua High School class of 1975. Vandella later moved from Hawaii to California where she worked & lived through the ‘80s and later found the love of her life and married to Mose Tupito Maae (of Taputimu, AS) in Vista, San Diego County, CA on October 02, 1989 and together they have a son, Moravich Mozell Maae. Vandella worked in the Payroll Dept. at the City & County of San Fransisco in California. She served 30 plus years in the American Samoa Government working from the Dept. of Education (DOE), to the Territorial Administration on Aging (TAOA) and then the American Samoa Telecommunications Authority (ASTCA) where she worked for 23 long years before retiring in 2014. She grew up attending the First Assembly of God Church in Pago Pago, AS and continued serving the Lord in the Agape International Ministries in Hawai’i from 2014 until God called her Home. Della loved to served the Lord, as the wife of a deacon, lay preacher, licensed minister, and treasurer of the Sunday School Dept. in Pago AOG.
