Obituary for Vicente Techaira ""Ben"" Pangelinan

Surrounded by his family, "Ben" was called to his eternal rest on Friday, August 26, 2022. Ben was born in Mangilao, Guam,and lived in Haleiwa, on the North Shore of Oahu. He was a retired Staff Sergeant in the Armed Forces, stationed at Schofield Barracks-Tropic Lightning; Wolfhounds 27th Infantry.

He is Survived by his Wife Nina (Lorenzo) Pangelinan and five children; Ben (Euhenia) Pangelinan Jr; Ku'ulei (Alan) Mashino; U'ilani Pangelinan; Ryan Pangelinan; Alohalani (Levi) Ligsay. Brothers: Greg (Mary) Pangelinan; Frank (Magdalena) Pangelinan; Antonio (Julie) Pangelinan; Tommy (Lourdes) Pangelinan; David (Laurie) Pangelinan, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Grandchildren; Kees (Ashley) Mashino; Jai Mashino; Reid Pangelinan; Kawika Pangelinan; Ka'imi Pangelinan; Kaydence Ligsay; Ryatt Ligsay. Great Grandchildren; Naya Dean Onaona; Nigel Kuaua Waipahe Mashino; and Serenity Pangelinan. Ben is predeceased by his parents; Francisco Garrido Pangelinan; and Dolores Cruz Techaira Pangelinan, Father and mother in law; Augustine and Abigail Lorenzo. Sisters; Elisa (Caling) Aguon, Mae T Pangelinan; Ignacia (Carlos) Cruz; and Brother; Joseph T Pangelinan.

Memorial services will be held on September 28, 2022 at Liliuokalani Church in Haleiwa at 9:30 AM and burial with Military Honors to follow at 1:00 PM at Scholfeild Main Post Cemetery.
